Graphic Design is a unique program centered on creating delight through good design. The learner starts with an observed need or an idea which is transformed through form, structure, color, material, texture, environment, and detailing to a digital and physical prototype. The outcome could be a product, an interaction, a space, or an experience which creates sustainable value and evokes a positive emotional response for the intended user.

Shreya Jakhar
Program Coordinator
Shreya Jakhar has pursued her masters in Photography Design from National Institute of Design, Ahmedabad. She holds a Bachelor degree of B.Tech in Computer Science Engineering from Rajasthan Technical University, Kota. Shreya has a strong inclination towards media convergence for portraying her stories and subjects. She works in a variety of media including photography, film making, illustration and graphics. She has been practicing and producing research-based work for four years and has good teaching experience. Prior to Avantika She has worked at Woxsen University, Hyderabad. Her work has been featured and awarded at both national and international platforms. Shreya's approach as a visual artist is inspired from her childhood memories and experiences. Her practice is evolving with time and she has been able to produce certain body of work under various contemporary subjects like socio-political issues, environmental degradation, experimental story telling on human psyche.
Eligibility
- Graduate of any stream (10+2+3 Minimum)
- 50% aggregate in all subjects
- Proficiency in English
- Valid score of MIT Pune Design Entrance Test (DET)
- Valid score of Design Scholarship Test (DST)
- DET is jointly conducted by MIT Institute of Design, Ujjain and MIT Institute of Design (MIT-ID), Pune

The Hostel facility is available on first-come-first-served basis. Hostel and Mess facility is available on the campus at an additional cost. The hostel facility shall be Twin Non-AC accommodation. The mess facility shall include Breakfast, Lunch, Evening Snacks and Dinner.
Loan
Students Loan facility will be available to the students securing admission to the university. Disbursement of the loan is as per the banks' terms and conditions.
