With over 15 years of distinguished experience in design education, academic leadership, and institutional development, Ashish Nar is a design visionary committed to shaping the future of design education in India. His expertise spans industrial design, mobility design, curriculum innovation, faculty development, and strategic academic administration. He served as the Dean, Mobility Design and Assistant Director, IQAC at the Unitedworld Institute of Design (UID), Karnavati University, Ahmedabad, where he played a pivotal role in advancing academic excellence, quality assurance, and industry-integrated learning. Prior to this, he was the Founding Director of Pune Design School at Pimpri Chinchwad University and held key leadership positions, including Director and Head of the School of Design at Ajeenkya DY Patil University. Academically, he holds a Master's in Car & Transportation Design from Domus Academy, Italy, along with a Master's in Education and a Bachelor's in Mechanical Engineering. This multidisciplinary foundation enables him to seamlessly integrate design thinking, engineering principles, and educational innovation.
