Anoushka Iyer

Anoushka Iyer is a visual designer and educator whose practice lies at the intersection of branding, identity systems, graphic design, and design thinking. She holds a Master's degree in Visual Experiential Design from UID, Karnavati University, and a Bachelor's degree in Visual Communication from SRM Institute of Science and Technology. Driven by a strong interest in purpose-led design, Anoushka focuses on creating meaningful visual systems rooted in context, culture, and storytelling. Her professional experience spans the design and media industry, including her tenure at Halfpants Media, where she contributed to a diverse portfolio of projects across multiple sectors. Her academic and research pursuits reflect a commitment to exploring the relationship between design, place, and human experience. She presented her research paper on contextual wayfinding and signage design at Adalaj Stepwell at the International Conference on Experiential Design and Technology Applications (ICEDTA), with the work subsequently published in a Taylor & Francis journal. The research demonstrates her ability to integrate strategic thinking, visual exploration, and contextual inquiry into impactful design solutions. As a designer and educator, Anoushka is passionate about fostering critical thinking, curiosity, and research-driven creativity, empowering learners to bridge the gap between analytical inquiry and effective visual communication.
