A visual alchemist at heart, Monami Roy is a visual artist whose work seamlessly blends the charm of traditional art with the dynamism of digital media. She curated some of the finest illustrations, animation, and graphic novels of all times, all woven together to tell stories that captivate, challenge, and charm. A distinguished graduate of NIFT Bengaluru and a Master of Design from the esteemed NID Ahmedabad, Monami brings with her a background and a flair for the extraordinary. With an illustrious industry experience spanning 6 years, her artistic voice is defined by striking visual narratives and sequential storytelling that leave a lasting impact. Her animated films have been screened at over 70 international film festivals, earning her awards and honourable mentions at prestigious events like the Happy Valley Animation Festival, Madeira Curtas Short Film Contest, Abbey Film Festival, Aster Film Festival, and IPAF Seoul, to name a few. Currently a faculty at Avantika University, she is guiding young designers to think creatively and design with empathy. She encourages students to create bold and meaningful visual stories that go beyond looks and make a real impact.
