After completing a Product Design course from the National Institute of Design, Ahmedabad, Bhargav has been a practicing Design Consultant and Pedagogist for over 40 years and has worked on numerous challenging projects ranging across industrial products, energy meters, domestic appliances, equipment, space research products for Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO), medical equipment, etc. One of his most successful projects has also received an international patent. He has headed as the Dean of the Indian Institute of Crafts and Design, Jaipur, and as the Dean of Design Culture at the Arch College of Design and Business, Jaipur. He also delivers the Creativity, Innovation, and Design course for engineering students and has been on the board of studies for various institutes. Along with a diversified track record in design, creative, and cultural industries, he exhibits immense devotion towards music and has composed and created three internationally acclaimed music albums available on Spotify, Amazon Music, i tunes, etc. He is also an accomplished Sarod player. His presentations include 'Design and Music - A Parallel Journey' a Ted-X talk as well as several presentations on Design and music at other venues such as the International Design Festival in Bangalore, Pune, and in universities abroad such as Stanford, Harvard and South Dakota State University. He has delivered the convocation address for the 16th Convocation Ceremony for CEPT University, Ahmedabad, the Keynote address for Emerging Trends in Multidisciplinary Design and Research 2022, and the Keynote address at Banasthali Vidyapith, on Emerging Pathways in the Future of Design.
