Vice Chancellor of Avantika University attends Digi100X MP

The Vice Chancellor of Avantika University, Dr. Nitin Rane, participated in Digi100X MP, held in Indore. The event was graced by Shri Inder Singh Parmar, Hon’ble Minister for Higher and Technical Education, Government of Madhya Pradesh, along with eminent academicians and education leaders from across the state. As part of the conference, Dr. Rane participated in two roundtable discussions focused on the National Education Policy (NEP) and Digital Transformation in Higher Education. He also attended a workshop on disruptive innovation conducted by SPREAD, where he engaged in insightful discussions and collaborative exercises with fellow leaders to evaluate the past, present, and future of education.

20 Avantika University students selected for fully funded EUREKA Project in Poland

Avantika University has achieved another significant international milestone. Twenty students from the School of Design, Engineering, and Management have been selected for the fully funded EUREKA Project at Lodz University of Technology, Poland. The program is being conducted under the SPINAKER – Intensive International Education Program, funded by the National Agency for Academic Exchange (NAWA), Poland, and co-funded by the European Union. Under this selection, each student has been awarded a grant of approximately ₹3.20 lakh, taking the total grant value to ₹64 lakh. As part of the project, Lodz University of Technology will design and implement an Intensive International Education Program (IMPK) titled “The Europe Ready Challenge.” The program is intended for students from partner universities including Avantika University (India), University Malaysia Perlis (Malaysia), and Papua New Guinea University of Technology (Papua New Guinea). Notably, Avantika University is the only institution selected from India for this project and is also the only private university among the participating institutions. The program comprises 150 hours of study delivered through a modern blended-learning model that combines online and offline instruction. As part of the initiative, students from India, Malaysia, and Papua New Guinea will travel to Lodz, Poland, in June 2026 for a three-week academic immersion program. The achievement was confirmed by Dr. Priya Rao, Deputy Pro-Vice Chancellor and Project Coordinator at Avantika University.

Avantika University Vice Chancellor Dr. Nitin Rane awarded EU Erasmus+ Mobility Grant

Avantika University has added another international achievement to its growing list of global recognitions. Dr. Nitin Rane, Vice Chancellor of Avantika University, has been awarded a fully funded European Union (EU) Academic Mobility Grant under the prestigious Erasmus+ Programme. The grant has been awarded for participation in the KA171 Project, which will be hosted by Lodz University of Technology, Poland, in June 2026. As part of the project, Dr. Rane has been invited to teach a Challenge-Based Learning course to an international cohort of students from various countries at Lodz University of Technology. Dr. Rane attributed this recognition to Avantika University’s project-based learning approach and the trust placed in him by the university leadership. This accomplishment further strengthens the university’s recent international successes. Earlier, 20 students from the university were also selected for a fully funded international project. Through such initiatives, Avantika University continues to expand opportunities for student development and skill enhancement while strengthening collaboration between academia and industry. These efforts play a crucial role in improving students’ employability, global exposure, and readiness for future careers in an increasingly interconnected world.

SOD students win Silver Prize at DBEW Awards 2026

Students of the School of Design, Reva Rajgariah and Tulsi Nyati from 3rd yr UX, at Avantika University, have been awarded the Silver prize at the prestigious DBEW 2026 (Design Beyond East and West) award ceremony held in Milan for their innovative project, MaternLink The Lifeline for Mothers. The project follows their earlier success in securing a spot among the Top 10 finalists at the Toyota Mobility Design Competition. Their achievement places them alongside top-tier institutions from the UK, France, Japan, China, South Korea, and Italy. The other winners represent leading universities from the UK, France, Japan, China, South Korea, and Italy. They are the only winners from India, with Avantika University being the exclusive representative from the country.

Design students among top 10 Finalists in Toyota Logistic Design Competition 2026

By applying classroom learning to create world-class design solutions, students of the School of Design at Avantika University, Tulsi Rakesh Nyati and Reva Rohit Rajgariah, have been nominated as the top 10 Finalists across 4 categories in the Toyota Logistics Design Competition 2026 Europe. Their project has also been selected for showcase at Milan Design Week 2026, one of the worlds most prestigious design challenges. Recognising their outstanding work, the students have also been invited to an exclusive private event, bringing immense pride and laurels to the institution.

SOM's Celebrate Alumni brings market insights to Pre-Placement Students

The School of Management at Avantika University, in collaboration with the Alumni Cell, hosted the 2026 Alumni Meet, Celebrate Alumni. The event featured 5 alumni from the MBA 2022 batch, who stepped in as mentors, guiding students on the current market demands and trends. The guest alumni also extended their support and expressed their willingness to guide students in the future. The session culminated with 70+ Pre-Placement students in attendance, and was a great success in generating helpful insights for students eyeing industry placements in the upcoming months.

Game Boy- Inspired Kids Device by B.Des students showcased in Yanko Design

Sixth-semester B.Des Industrial Design students of the School of Design at Avantika University Royal Tyagi, Anshit Mathur, Aarna Mishra, and Anoushka Sadana have been featured in Yanko Design for their innovative project: Game Boy-Inspired Kids Device Concept Fixes What Tablets Get Wrong. The team explored a Game Boy, inspired interactive device, addressing key limitations of current tablets for children. Anuja Deshpande, a third-year B.Des Industrial Design student of the School of Design at Avantika University, has been featured in the internationally acclaimed magazine Yanko Design for her innovative project: This Kid-Safe Drone Looks Like a Frog and Hides Spinning Blades. Her design reimagines drones for children, combining playful aesthetics with built-in safety features to protect young users from the spinning blades. Avantika University and Dainik Bhaskar host Principals Conclave 2026

Avantika University, in collaboration with Dainik Bhaskar, organised the Principals Conclave 2026 at the university premises in Ujjain. The event witnessed participation from 38 principals representing prominent schools across the city. The conclave was centred on the theme From Chalkboard to Chatbot: AI-Driven School Curriculum, highlighting the evolving role of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in modern education. A panel discussion was conducted featuring Dr. Nitin Rane, Honourable Vice-Chancellor; Mr. Ameet Sharma, Chief Growth Officer; Dr. Manesh Patil, Registrar; and Dr. Surendra Rahamatkar, Pro-Vice-Chancellor. The principals actively engaged in discussions on integrating AI into daily academic curricula. Speakers emphasised the importance of amalgamating AI into school education to innovate and prepare students for emerging job opportunities both in India and abroad. The panel underscored that AI is not intended to replace traditional education systems but to enhance existing learning methodologies and make education more effective. Addressing the gathering, Dr. Nitin Rane stated, AI plays an indispensable role in the growth of a nation. If we aim to lead the era of innovation, inculcating AI in education is the key. Dr. Surendra Rahamtkar added that incorporating AI into the syllabus would significantly enhance students knowledge and skill set. He further stressed the need for workshops and technical training sessions to ensure AI is utilised effectively and responsibly in educational institutions. B.Des student wins Yanko Design Feature

Neha Pawar, a B.Des, Industrial Design student from the School of Design at Avantika University, earned recognition for her nature-inspired Home Nebulizer design, Breevo. In contrast to the conventional nebulizers available in the market, Breevo does not make a loud buzzing noise. The student developed the design, intending to re-frame the home nebulizer as an approachable object. This friendly household gadget retains the familiar compressor mechanism inside while presenting a soft, rounded shell with an integrated handle and a single front power button.

Student film selected at SIFFCY International Festival

Jumon Thakuria, a third-year Animation Design student from the School of Design at Avantika University, has had his film Kites selected for the Smile International Film Festival for Children & Youth, popularly known as the SIFFCY International Festival. The festival recognizes talent from across the world by providing a dedicated platform for children and youth. The film, Kites, was developed in a span of six weeks, from concept to execution.

Avantika University celebrates 77th Republic Day

Avantika University proudly celebrated the 77th Republic Day on its campus, commemorating 77 years of India as a Republic. The celebration witnessed enthusiastic participation from students, faculty members, and staff. The occasion was graced by Colonel Vivek Verma Ji of the Regiment of Artillery, along with Shri Yuvraj Singh Dodia, RSS - Ujjain Sah Pramukh (Mahavidhyalay Karya), and Shri Piyush Vaishnav, RSS - Karya Pramukh (Ujjain Parisar Karya), whose presence added dignity and honor to the event. The ceremony featured flag hoisting followed by a medal distribution ceremony honoring the winners of the marathon organized as part of the Republic Day celebrations. The event concluded with a shared sense of pride, patriotism, and respect for the nations rich heritage, and inspired everyone to uphold the spirit of the Republic.

Avantika University delivered an outstanding performance at the Bhumi Campus Awards 2025, held in Delhi, earning multiple recognitions for its collective commitment to social impact and community development.
