Ajit Upadhyaya, ranked among the 51 Most Influential Marketing Professors to Follow on LinkedIn globally in a research study by Prof. Dr. Khamitov of NTU Singapore, is an accomplished academic, industry professional, researcher, trainer, motivator, writer and consultant, with a distinguished blend of industry and academic experience. He has earlier served at ICFAI Business School, Prestige Institute of Management and Research, Indore, as Professor and HOD-Marketing; PIMR Dewas as Director; and Vaishnav Management (SVIM & SVITS). He has also been a Radio Programmer, Blogger and Podcaster. With 110+ research papers published in UGC-listed, peer-reviewed, Scopus- and ABDC-listed journals, along with patents to his credit, he is a prolific researcher and academic contributor. He has edited three books and, under his supervision, 15 scholars have been awarded Doctorates from Devi Ahilya University. He has chaired International Conferences at Montclair State University, New Jersey (USA), the AMDISA Conference, Maldives, and IMT Dubai. His contributions have earned several prestigious recognitions, including an award from Manipal University Jaipur for Exceptional Contribution to Higher Education at the International Conclave on Circular Economy in 2024. He received the “Highly Commended Paper” Award at the IMT Nagpur–University of Texas at El Paso Management Conference in 2020 and the Best Paper Award at the International Conference at J.K. Lakshmipat University, Jaipur, in 2021.
