Maruti S. Pawar is an Associate Professor at the School of Agriculture, Avantika University, Ujjain, with over 11 years of experience in teaching, research, and agricultural extension. He holds a Ph.D. in Plant Pathology from Jawaharlal Nehru Krishi Vishwavidyalaya (JNKVV), Jabalpur, is ASRB-NET qualified in Plant Pathology, and has an additional postgraduate degree in Agricultural Microbiology. His areas of expertise include Plant Pathology, Crop Production Technology, Agricultural Microbiology, Integrated Disease Management, Biofertilizers, Biocontrol Agents, Mushroom Cultivation, Precision Agriculture, Climate-Smart Agriculture, and Sustainable Crop Management. He has published more than 14 research papers in reputed journals, presented his work at national and international conferences, and was honored with the Young Scientist Award (2020) for his contributions to agricultural research and innovation.
