Anushka Shukla

Anushka Shukla is a dedicated academic professional with a strong foundation in agricultural sciences, specializing in Entomology, and a strong orientation toward teaching, research, and academic engagement. She holds a Bachelor of Science (Honours) in Agriculture and a Master of Science in Agriculture (Entomology) from Shri Vaishnav Vidyapeeth Vishwavidyalaya. As part of her postgraduate studies, Ms. Shukla completed her M.Sc. research dissertation entitled “Studies on Population Dynamics of Major Insect Complex of Onion and Different Sampling Methods for Thrips tabaci on Onion Crop.” Her research generated meaningful insights into pest population monitoring, sampling methodologies, and integrated pest management strategies for onion cultivation. Her academic preparation is complemented by substantial practical training through the Rural Agricultural Work Experience (RAWE) programme at Krishi Vigyan Kendra, Indore, where she gained hands-on exposure to crop production practices, agricultural extension activities, and farmer engagement. She also undertook In-Plant Training at Ujjain Sahkari Dugdh Sangh Maryadit (SANCHI), Ujjain, where she acquired practical experience in dairy product processing, food hygiene and safety standards, and compliance with standard operating procedures. Ms. Shukla demonstrates strong academic and pedagogical competencies, including curriculum development, analytical thinking, and research-based problem-solving. She has participated in professional development programs such as Industry 4.0 for Inclusive and Sustainable Growth and Introduction to MATLAB. She has actively engaged in several national and international conferences and has authored a research article titled “Economic Importance of Wetlands in Relation to Plant Production,” published in the proceedings of a national conference on Recent Advances in Exploration and Conservation of Wetlands. Her accomplishments also include completing specialized training programs in mushroom production and vermicomposting.
