Shreya Jakhar has pursued her masters in Photography Design from National Institute of Design, Ahmedabad. She holds a Bachelor degree of B.Tech in Computer Science Engineering from Rajasthan Technical University, Kota. Shreya has a strong inclination towards media convergence for portraying her stories and subjects. She works in a variety of media including photography, film making, illustration and graphics. She has been practicing and producing research-based work for four years and has good teaching experience. Prior to Avantika She has worked at Woxsen University, Hyderabad. Her work has been featured and awarded at both national and international platforms. Shreya’s approach as a visual artist is inspired from her childhood memories and experiences. Her practice is evolving with...e and she has been able to produce certain body of work under various contemporary subjects like socio-political issues, environmental degradation, experimental story telling on human psyche.
The Foundation Year is common to all the specializations and is designed to provide learners with analytical, social, creative, and individual development.

The Bachelors in Communication Design will prepare students for a variety of jobs in Advertising, Art Direction, Branding Design, Print Design, Marketing Communications, Web and Multimedia Design, Packaging Design, Motion Graphics, 3-Dimensional Design, Design Education and Research, and Consulting.
The students may work for a Fortune 500 company, a start-up, plan to pursue a design research career, or choose to be self-employed. Some students study Communication Design simply because they like it and enjoy the challenge, and that may be the best reason of all!

The Hostel facility is available on first-come-first-served basis. Hostel and Mess facility is available on the campus at an additional cost. The hostel facility shall be Twin Non-AC accommodation. The mess facility shall include Breakfast, Lunch, Evening Snacks and Dinner.

A concession/ subsidy of 10% (of hostel and mess fees only) per month shall be applicable, in case the campus does not reopen in July 2020 as planned.
This is in view of the current COVID-19 situtaion and the possibility of extended lockdown.
Transport facility is available from the city to campus at an additional cost.
Students Loan facility will be available to the students securing admission to the university. Disbursement of the loan is as per the banks' terms and conditions.
Avantika University will cancel an Admission only if the student fails to meet the Entry Requirements. The complete fees will be refunded within 15 days of cancellation of admission.
A student opting to withdraw his/her admission will be entitled to the refund of fees as detailed below:
