The Mentor-Mentee Engagement at Avantika provides students with an invaluable opportunity to carve their journey with mentors by their side. Each student (Mentee) is allowed to identify a Mentor (across Campus) who plays an integral and personalized role in the student's pursuits throughout the academic journey. The Mentor continuously analyzes the student's interests, and areas of expertise, and gives professional advice in terms of the selection of their discipline at the end of the Foundation Year, and so on.
The two-ended partnership is the culmination of the efforts between the two, where the mentor acts as a silent guide and gives constructive advice to the mentee regarding his/her academics and non-academic quests. These mentoring conversations and sessions move beyond the directive approach of “telling it how it is”, where both the mentor and mentee can learn from each other for tangible outcomes.
