School of Management celebrates National Management Day

School of Management at Avantika University celebrated National Management Day at the University campus on 21st February 2023. The chief guest for the program was Mr. Siddharth Upadhyaya, Co-Founder, Arise Business Consulting, Indore.

The Vice-Chancellor, Dr. Nitin Rane inaugurated the National Management Day in the presence of esteemed guests, deans of all schools, faculty, staff, and students. The event began with the recitation of the MIT World Peace Prayer and Ganesh Vandana. The Vice-Chancellor welcomed and felicitated the Chief Guest for the program, Mr. Siddharth Upadhyaya, Co-Founder, Arise Business Consulting, Indore.

The students explained the importance of National Management Day and why it is celebrated. The felicitation was followed by the welcome speech by Meenal Sharma, Dean, School of Management. In her speech, she talked about management not just being a profession and pressed on taking it as a thought and philosophy.

The welcome speech was followed by the address of the Vice Chancellor, Dr. Nitin Rane. In his address, the Vice-Chancellor mentioned the importance of studying creative thinking while pursuing management studies. He also spoke about developing a thought process for expanding any business across domains.

Next in line was the Curtain Raiser of the ‘Management Fest. The students presented the logo of the management fest which was unveiled by the Guest of Honor, Siddharth Upadhyaya, and the Vice Chancellor of the University, Dr. Nitin Rane. The event and celebrations then moved on to the inauguration of the ‘Bazaar on Campus’ by the Guest of Honor, Siddharth Upadhyaya, and the Vice Chancellor, Dr. Nitin Rane.

Mr. Siddharth Upadhyaya, Co-Founder, Arise Business Consulting, Indore, delivered the ‘Management Talk on the topic ‘How to Manage stakeholders? He elaborated on the steps involved in the Process of Stakeholder Management with previous and present industry examples. After the management talk, there was a Q&A round where the students put forward their questions and also interacted with the guest.

Additionally, there were management games and management housie for the students and the staff. The students also presented ‘Managing the Madness, a self-edited corporate movie.
