Avantika University organized a 6-day student orientation program for welcoming the 5th batch of design cohorts. The orientation program started with the introduction to Leadership by Dean - Student Affairs, Satyajit Pangaonkar. The students then were briefed by the Dean of Design, Sukanta Kundu where he explained how learning has developed at Avantika.

The commencement lecture was delivered by Satish Gokhale, owner of Design Directions. In his address to the students, he shared his insights about design, how design should be for mass production, and how it should be beneficial for society. The design faculties conducted workshops like Toy Design Workshop, Make it Better workshop for the students. Several cultural programs and panel discussions were also organized for the students.

The students were given a virtual tour of the campus to give them an understanding of the campus and the amenities. The orientation program concluded with a feedback session with the Dean, Student Affairs.
