The University organized a Design Orientation Program for the academic session 2023-24 for the MDes batch of the School of Design. The two-day Orientation Program happened on the 3rd and 4th of July 2023 with fun, engaging, and exciting activities and motivational lectures.

On Day 1, 03rd July 2023, the commencement lecture was delivered by the Chief Guest, Mr. Yashwant Suthar, Founder, Lootel, Indore. While interacting with the students, he shared his journey of becoming a Designer. He also talked about entrepreneurship, entrepreneur ideas, and how the ability to think beyond requirements helped him with his venture. Shailesh Bhokare, Manager, AIIC (Avantika Innovation and Incubation Center) at Avantika University, informed the students about the Avantika Innovation and Incubation Center (AIIC). Prof. Raghav Pandya explained about the Career Services, internships, placements, and other career-related services offered.

On Day 2, 04th July 2023, a discipline-level introduction was given by the respective coordinators. Rajshree from YourDost explained the services that YourDost offers. Senthil Kumar, Controller of Examination at Avantika University, explained the jury process and everything about the evaluation process. Satyajit Pangaonkar, Dean of Student Life at Avantika University, explained to the students about the activities that are 'Beyond Academics.' The day concluded with a team building activity which was followed by an exploration tour to Ujjain city for the 'Earning Hundred Rupee Challenge' with Sanjay Jain and Dheeraj Chugh, faculty members, School of Design at Avantika University.
