Avantika University students visited UMC (Ujjain Municipal Corporation) Smart City Office on 27^th June 2023 on its 8th anniversary. The students from the School of Management and the School of Engineering gained insights about UMC initiatives, upcoming projects, usage of the UMC app, and 74 Emergency Phone Call Booth in Ujjain City. The students also learned about traffic management systems, waste management systems, and the production of electricity using methane through the initiatives of UMC Smart City projects.

The students also attended a session on Women Empowerment by Dr. Sangeeta Pathkar, Social Activist and Retd. Principal, Ujjain.

The visit gave the students detailed information on the opportunities they can get from UMC’s upcoming sponsored projects for Smart City, their UI, UX, and ICCC platforms, and how they can fulfill the requirements of Ujjain concerning AI and make Ujjain a better destination.
