Avantika University recently made waves in the fashion industry as a proud design partner at a prestigious fashion show held in Pune. Dubbed "The Shadow Hunters", the fashion show was a unique showcase that featured extravagant costumes designed by talented designers across India. The show was organized by Glam Magics for a noteworthy social cause for the motivation of especially abled, cancer survivors, and social workers.

Adding to the glitz and glamour of the show was Amar Mithapalli, Assistant Professor from the School of Design at Avantika University. Together with his students from the Fashion Design program, he presented his magnificent collection on the runway.

The collection chosen for the show was a tribute to the cultural significance of Indian textile traditions and the exceptional skills of local artisans. It celebrated the magnificent artistry of textile traditions from Maheshwar, the captivating Bagh prints of Madhya Pradesh, and the timeless allure of Khadi.

The combination of these exquisite textiles and the specially-abled models wearing them on the runway created an unforgettable experience that transcended the boundaries of the fashion world. It was a beautiful celebration of the human spirit, showcasing the unparalleled talent and creativity of Indian designers, and was a sight to behold.
