Taking his brilliant idea forward, Soham Mohanty from 3^rd year B.Des Industrial Design bagged the first place in the ‘Conceptual Category – Student’ at the Lexus Design Awards India 2020 in Pune.

The winners in the 10 categories were the few among the 885 high quality entries from allover India that won the prestigious award and got shortlisted for the Global Lexus DesignAward 2020. The international design competition will be taking place at the Lexus DesignEvent at Milan Design Week this year.

Soham designed a product by the name of Accufill; a device that can measure and track theactual amount of fuel entering the petrol tank in automobiles. The idea got highly appreciatedby the Jury panel and earned Soham the opportunity to not only represent India in theconcerned category but also get mentored by industry stalwarts to refine his project for thefinal round.
