Students from Bachelors and Masters design program / School of Design visited a high-tech offset printing and packaging firm in Indore on 11 October 2021. The purpose of the visit was to make students aware of the nuances of offset printing, the touch-feel of the different types of papers and their textures. The students closely observed every step followed by a professional offset printing press with large automated machines. Additionally, the students witnessed special color printing in full bloom and eye-catchy finishing techniques. Priya Halde – HR Head, Vijayshri Packaging, Indore along with Aman Gour, Planning Head attended the students zeroed in on other minute details. The industry visit was a part of a course in Reproduction Techniques. Isha Gahlot and Kaustubh Kirtane facilitated the visit.
