The School of Management at Avantika University organized a two-day Industrial & Adventure Tour from 14-15 April 2023 for MBA and BBA students.

The students visited Maral Overseas Limited, Khargone, MP (an LNJ Bhilwara Group company) and Nammadus Waterfront Resort, Khal Bujurg, MP, for industry exposure and adventures.

The students understood the ground-level operations of yarn, fabric, and textile production through an automated system. The production officials at Maral Overseas explained how the company manages raw materials, inventory, and supply chains to meet market demands. Mr. Manoj Thakker (Vice President - HR, Maral Overseas) interacted with the students by sharing his experiences with the students about various business tips, techniques, strategies, and HR policies. He also gave a mantra that planning according to the situation is called management.

Maral Overseas Ltd is one of India's largest vertically integrated textile companies and a public limited company listed on the stock exchanges in India. Set up in 1991, it is a USD 110 million composite company today.

Additionally, the students also experienced an amazing adventure at Nammadus Resort. The students here experienced boating, swimming, trekking, live music, and watching the sunrise and sunset at the waterfront.

The students were taken on this industrial and adventure tour under the supervision of Prof. Amber Tiwari and Dr. Ankur Kumar Rastogi. It was a great learning and enjoyable tour for the management students.
