BDes Fashion Design students, Ms. Avantika Potdar and Ms. Khyati Pawar received the 2nd runner-up award on the topic of craft-based design - craft cluster - Kolhapuri Chappals. They received the award at the Pune Design Festival in the battle of Design Projects 2023 competition organized by the Association of Designers of India (ADI).

The project was completed under the mentorship of Assistant Professor, Amar Mithapalli, School of Design. The students created 6 designs, out of which one is under production.
