Avantika University – The MIT Pune Campus at Ujjain and Dainik Bhaskar organized a Principal’s conclave at the University campus on 5th February 2023. The topic discussed and covered was Reforms in the Indian Education System through NEP – The need for Skill and project-based learning".
Top educators and Principals of top schools from Ujjain, Indore, and other nearby cities participated in the conclave. The top educators did extensive brainstorming on the need for improvement in the Indian education system and project-based learning under the NEP.
The members present in the discussion unanimously accepted that skill and project-based learning is the only way through which the students of the country will make India a world leader again. The students can become skilled through practical knowledge.Dr. Akhilesh Kumar Pandey, Vice Chancellor – Vikram University, was the guest of honor for the conclave. He said, ‘Education is the tool through which we can transfer our culture from one generation to another’.
Dr. Rane, Vice Chancellor – Avantika University explained MIT Pune Group’s decision of opening a University in Ujjain. He also explained the project-based learning approach and experiential learning methodology applied in teaching programs offered at Avantika University.
At the end of the conclave, all the guests were presented with a memento by Manesh Patil, Registrar – Avantika University, and Nitin Rane, Vice Chancellor – Avantika University. The vote of thanks was given by Manesh Patil, Registrar – Avantika University.
