The UGC Expert Committee visited Avantika University on 22^nd and 23^rd March, 2019. The Committee was chaired by Prof. Dinesh Kumar (Vice Chancellor – J. C. Bose University of Science and Technology). The other members of the committee were; Prof. Ashish Tiwari (DAVV, Indore), Prof. Sachin Nilkhandrao Deshmukh (BAMU, Aurangabad), Prof. Lalit Kumar Awasthi (NIT, Jalandhar), Prof. Vivek Srivastava (NIT, Delhi), Prof. Sanjay Batish (PEC University of Technology, Chandigarh), Prof. R.M. Singh (MNNIT, Allahabad), and Dr. Jitendra K. Tripathi (UGC). The committee had a thorough view of the university’s functioning for ascertaining the norms and standards in terms of academic programs, faculty, infrastructure, and financial viability as laid down by the UGC and other concerned statutory bodies. The committee visited as per the requirement of UGC (Establishment of and Maintenance of Private Universities) Regulation, 2003.
