The second-year BDes students of User Experience Design recently embarked on a fascinating field trip to Decathlon, Indore, on 16th June 2023 with Anadi Bhagat, Assistant Professor, School of Design at Avantika University. The field trip was organized as part of their course on "Introduction to User Experience." The purpose of this field trip was to provide the students with practical insights into how numerous micro-experiences come together to create a macro-level experience.

The journey began with the students immersing themselves in the diverse range of experiences that the Decathlon store offers. With a keen eye for detail and a desire to unravel the intricacies of user experience, the students diligently mapped the various encounters that unfolded within the store's environment. By mapping the different experiences at the store, the students developed a deeper understanding of how user experiences are crafted and how they impact customers' perceptions and behaviors.
