Avantika University hosted Spardha Open sports meet from January 29th to February 1st, 2024. The inter-college competition brought together a diverse range of sports activities, creating an electrifying atmosphere on the campus. The Open Sports Meet witnessed a remarkable turnout, with over 500 students participating in various sporting events. In the cricket category, Avantika University emerged as the triumphant winner, while the Molana Ajad Cricket Club secured the runner-up position. The volleyball competition saw Sage University clinching victory, with Gurukul Ujjain as the worthy runner-up. In football, Jal Niketan School claimed the winner's title, and Avantika University secured the runner-up position. Chess honors went to Sneh Botke of Avantika University. The in-house events showcased impressive performances in badminton, with Nipun and Shiv winning the men's doubles, Ovi and Eashita securing the women's doubles, and Kunal and Monika triumphing in the mixed doubles. The 4x100 relay events showcased the prowess of Shruti's women's team and Bhanu's men's team. In the 100m competition, Shruti excelled in the women's category, while Rishi Roy, Hamish, and Tushar claimed the top positions in the men's division. Table tennis witnessed Michelle Sequeira and Swaroop Wasekar emerging as the winners in the women's and men's categories, respectively, with Ameesha and Nipun Bajab as the runners-up. The 100m competition for men was dominated by Rishi Roy, Hamish, and Tushar, securing the first, second, and third positions, respectively. The Spardha 2024 showcased exceptional talent and sportsmanship across various disciplines.
