The School of Management arranged an industry visit for the BBA, BBA LLB, and LLB students, under the auspices of the Alfresco club under the guidance of faculty coordinator Ms. Shilpi Upadhyay and Coordinator Mr. Aditya Awasthi on 23rd November 2023. Through their one-on-one interactions with department leaders and their understanding of the real manufacturing process, Students had the opportunity to gain up-to-date knowledge about how departments like quality control, procurement, and human resources function. Students visited Ariba Foods Pvt. Ltd., a venture of The Packing People, a well-known manufacturer of high-end specialty packaging products with operations across nine nations. The Packing People was founded in 1983. Their diverse portfolio includes Corrugated Boxes, Kraft Paper, Pharmaceutical Packaging Bottles & Closures, PET/HDPE/PP jars, Poly Bags, Personal and hospital hygiene products and Food and Agro Products. Manufacturing plants are spread across more than 8 locations in India. Their pursuit of excellence was duly acknowledged by the National Award for Outstanding Entrepreneurship in Manufacturing (2014-15) from Hon. Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi. Group holds US Patent for CR closures, making them the first and only Indian company in this category. Strategic partnerships with invaluable clients have paved way for us to become a $150 million group by 2020.
