Avantika University celebrated its 4th Foundation Day on 11th September 2020. In line with the COVID-19 guidelines issued by the government this year, the ceremony organized online with the two most prestigious guests Dr. Indira Parikh - President of Antardisha, Founder President of FLAME University, Pune and Mr. Raghuram Velega, Vice President of Big Data and Analytics at Reliance Jio.
The formal program started with the World Peace Prayer and welcomed university leadership members and guests of honor. The program was graced by the Vice-Chancellor; Dr. Prasheel Suryawanshi, Guests of Honor; Dr. Indira Parikh and Mr. Raghuram Velega, and the Registrar; Dr. Manesh Patil. The program witnessed quite a few remarkable activities like the efforts and achievements of students, student council, and faculty. The address was followed by felicitations of programs like participation in the Kalaghoda Festival, Yuj Contest, Lexus Awards, and implementation of CANVAS, LMS platform.
The General Secretary of the council, Mayank Soni shared his vision and mission to regulate a more engaging culture at the campus. Shrawani Bohra - Ladies Representative shared her journey of being a soundboard for the girl’s students of the University and expressed her learnings and experiences.

Dr. Indira Parikh beautifully narrated a motivational story on ‘Crossing the Threshold: Beginning of a New Journey in Education’ based on real-life experience. She also shared insight on independence, real-time challenges, and ways to grab the opportunities.
Dr Indira Parikh is the President of Antardisha and founder of FLAME University, Pune. She is a person with immense knowledge and work experience. She has also been honored with several lifetime achievement awards both nationally and internationally for her contribution to Education and HR. Currently, she is working with the DALHAM Foundation, a not-for-profit, mission-driven organization engaged in advancing and promoting creative and liberal education.
The Cultural Program was released on Avantika University’s YouTube channel after the live session. The performers were Uttara Kulkarni (Saraswati Vandana, Aigiri Nandini), Tanisi Koppa (Bharatnatyam), and Khyati Pawar (Bollywood Dance).
