The fashion design students of the School of Design presented a mesmerizing Fashion Show at the University Campus on 16th June 2023. The students walked the ramp at Aarambh 2023-24, the Orientation program for the School of Design. The freshers took this opportunity and showcased their talent at the ramp.

The Fashion show was organized in four rounds, where students presented their collections. Round one paid homage to the magnificent artistry of Maheshwar textiles and the captivating Bagh prints of Madhya Pradesh. Round two showcased the garments crafted with the timeless allure of mesmerizing Ikat fabrics from Odisha and Gujarat, with indigo fabrics. In round three, the resort wear collection was unveiled with serene tranquility. The remarkable collection of round four was inspired by the Bodhi tree. The Bodhi Tree symbolizes the awakening of wisdom and spiritual enlightenment in Buddhist philosophy.

The students showcased their talents in between the rounds of the fashion show with their group and solo musical performances.

The special guest for the show, Ms. Sunaina Yadav, graced the ramp at the fashion show. She is the epitome of inner strength and resilience, and each step she takes exudes confidence and grace, showcasing the power within her. Her vibrant personality shines through, enhancing the beauty and significance of the garments she wore as a model today. She is a role model of inner strength, overcoming challenges and obstacles with unwavering determination. Sunaina was felicitated by Dr. Nitin Rane, Vice Chancellor, Avantika University.

The striking highlight of the Fashion show was the in-house outfits designed by the students of Fashion Design that were donned by the faculty members.

The Fashion show was followed by a Freshers' Party where students danced, vibed, and enjoyed the night to the tunes of the DJ.
