Session | Pragmatic Innovation - Vishal Sharma | 26th Apr 21

At World Intellectual Property Day, Vishal Sharma, the Senior Director at Capgemini, guided the students to innovate pragmatically. He suggested students generating as many ideas as they can and then keeping a process to quickly filter those finally to commercialise one. The idea should be worth challenging and should be timed well to get the maximum ROI. The value of the intellectual property may or may not grow with time but it is important to test it out and move ahead with a fail-fast approach. He explained these factors with several examples like Sam Pitroda’s patent on a digital wallet.
