Understanding- Customer- Problems- Using- Design -Principles

Nadira Abdul Cader Irfan, Founder of Sri Lanka’s premier Design Thinking Company- Innovation Quotient (Pvt)Ltd, delivered an insightful session on the customer-thinking approach. Having described the customer’s mind as an iceberg, she orated about how one should look beneath the waterline to understand the customer’s pain points, empathize with them, and synthesize the findings into powerful insights to create wow factors. Taking examples of well-known case-studies, she highlighted the importance of evolving constantly and pushing the extremity. In the Q/A round, she further elaborated topics like environment-centered design and customer demands among others.
