6th March 2020 marked a significant day at Avantika University; we had Mr. Sudeep Chhabra, an evangelist at QGlue, who has worked for companies like Park Hotels, DLF, Giorgio Armani. A result driven strategist and innovator, he currently focuses on simplifying complex business problems and turning them into opportunities. The session started off with his insights for innovating at the intersection of retail, technology, and design to create the product and value exclusivity. Further, he talked about ‘What is Design and not Design?’ and when to choose the appropriate approach concentrating on user’s behaviour, needs, wishes and habits. This has lent a fresh perspective to students that design is all about finding solutions within constraints.
Overall, it was a compelling session which made the students rethink about collaborative learning and how taking advantage of different perspectives, views and skills allow them to find a niche and combine ideas to create great ones.
