"A minute of video is worth 1.8 million words." It's no wonder that video recently surpassed blogging as one of the most commonly used types of content by the marketers. Intended to develop the students' understanding of marketing videos and how to use them strategically to promote the business, Avantika welcomed the founding team of MotionGility, Himanshu Chaturvedi and Komal Kokate, who has delivered the best animation explainer videos to promote the business stories of organizations of all sizes and shapes, from start-ups to global brands, and across a range of industrial segments.
The session opened with a brief history of online video, starting with the rise of YouTube and how the other social media players have adapted their platforms to utilize video and better analyse the way users engage with it. Himanshu and Komal discussed how different elements including design, style, video length, and tone impacts the video quality. The students were provided with a deep-dive into the practical application of design principles across a range of marketing activities and explored how a few of the companies have embedded agile marketing and design thinking in creating great customer experiences.
