In the recent SparkTalks, Avantika University had the opportunity to conduct a session with Mr. Soumya Ranjan, Founder and Head of Design at CUSMAT (Hyderabad), who focuses on developing the VR based simulation and real-time communication systems for the heavy engineering and allied industries. The session started with an overview of AR and VR, detailing the key differences between the two concepts, and how they will continue to be applied in different ways. He further discussed how both the designer and engineer need to collaborate closely in creating the large-volume simulation environments. This insightful session ended with progressive students' inquisitiveness about the immersive technologies and the pricing strategies for the Indian market.
