Industry Visit | Vijashri Packaging and Perfect Scan – Indore | 19nd Aug’19
It was plethora of knowledge for the 3rd Year Communication Design students for their visit to the various printing presses in Indore on 19th July 2019 turned out to be a learned experience. The visits commandeered by the faculties, Madan Mune and Kaustubh Kirtane, aimed at elaborately familiarizing the students about the various printing techniques and processes. The visit to Vijashri Packaging in Indore gave students insight about the many offset printing machines, range of papers, colors and chemicals, and automated processes such as folding, pasting, die-punching etc. The 2 nd printing press explored by the students was Perfect Scan in Indore where they got insight into the high-end digital printing machines, types of media, short-run and large format printing. The visits pretty much gave students a clear know-how of best industry publication practices and facilitated their course on reproduction techniques.
