Rightly said, Yoga is the journey of the self, through the self, to the self. In this modern world, everyone is striving for accomplishment and hence we continue to suffer physical and psychological stress. Ms. Poonam Sharma (B.Sc. and M.Sc. in Yoga and Consciousness) conducted a revivifying session on Yoga on 5 and 6 May 2018 at the University. To help the students deal with anxiety, tensions and increasing competition, Ms. Sharma taught the students standing asanas (Surya namaskar, Tadasan, Vrikshasaan etc.), sitting asanas (Vajrasana, Vakrasana, Gomukhasana etc.), Pranayama and more. The students learnt the asanas and experienced inner peace and positive energy. The session received amazing response and the each one left feeling re-energized, fresh and affirmative.
