Course Exhibition | History of Technology And Design | 8th Aug’19
The Foundation Year, Liberal Arts course - 'History of Technology and Design' was led by Sanyukta Kashalkar - Karve. The team members included Gautam Karve, Rajat Akre, Amar Mithapalli, Dheeraj Chugh, and Atul Choudhary. The mix of design and engineering students worked in groups thus bringing varied ideas and perspectives to the table. The course introduced students to the evolution of Technology and Design from the pre-historic era to the present day. The students were given interesting assignments where they researched on assigned products and explored their connections and relations. The focus was also on the social changes that were brought about by the significant innovations that took place in ancient times up to the modern era.
