Project Showcase | Product Photography | 8th April’19
The course on Product Photography was led by the faculty, Rupesh Gajbhiye with perpetual support from Prof. Sukanta Kundu, Ambrish Polekar and an expert faculty, Faizan Khan; a well-known product and wildlife photographer. The course aimed at inculcating an in-depth understanding of DSLR camera, its functions and usages. The learners got a comprehensive overview of the science behind the DSLR and the techniques to click professional photographs. Faizan Khan guided the learners about the ways to set-up a photography studio and gave a walk-through on handling studio light for professional-looking pictures. Learners explored 8 assignments during the course with a start from Basic Aperture, Shutter Speed, ISO settings, Depth-of-Field, Shutter priority result, shooting shiny or reflective products and, black and white products separately. After a lot of exploration, the learners combined their work together to achieve expected results.
