The exhibition of Digital Experience Design was the culmination of 4 courses taught to the students of DED namely; Business Context Research, User Study, Cognitive Ergonomics and Information Visualization. The blend of all these courses helped the students learn by stages the key essentials in designing a user experience. Under the course on Business Context Research, students interacted with various Entrepreneurs to understand their journey, researched and developed an in-depth understanding of how businesses work under STUBLE format. Under the course User Study, students took a deep dive to understand about the users, stakeholders and the various methods to capture user scenario, pain points, expectation and desires. The course includes conducting user and stakeholders’ interviews and do extensive research to design a user experience. The course on Cognitive Ergonomics focused on advanced cognitive human factors where students learned mental processes like perception, memory, reasoning etc. Students explored story boarding and designing activities to understand cognition behind various topics. As a result of the activity they come up with a user persona and detailed the various characteristics for each persona. In the course on Information Visualization, the students inculcated capabilities to segregate and divide information in visual hierarchy and distribute its relevance using graphic language. Using specks from all these courses, students work culminated into a project which reflected their holistic knowledge in the field.
