Assistant ProfessorSiddhartha is a User Experience Designer with a curious mind and a rational approach. With a plethora of experience in innovative experience design across diverse industries, both in product and service-based areas such as technology, e-commerce, finance, and education. In addition to his accomplishments as a UX Designer, Siddhartha holds a Dip. in Fashion Photography and has excelled with a first-class distinction in B.F.A (Applied Arts) from Savitribai Phule Pune University. His pursuit of excellence continued as he achieved another first-class distinction in his Master of Design, specializing in UI/UX. With over 5+ years of industry experience as a design consultant, he has worked on a diverse set of projects, including both corporate and non-profit externships such as TI Cycles of ia, Plan B Enterprises, Tata Motors, Decathlon, BSNL, and Delhi Government, among others. Additionally, he has worked with an Ed-Tech organization as a UX Researcher, where he assisted in designing UX courses/curricula for UG/PG programs.Before becoming a part of Avantika University, Siddhartha had affiliations with renowned educational institutions such as Mody University (RJ), Sandeep University (MH), and Unitedworld Institute of Design, Gandhinagar as an assistant professor for User Experience Design (UED). He is an accomplished academician with a comprehensive understanding of user experience, design research, human-computer interaction, human-machine interface, voice user interface, interaction design, and service design. He helps design aspirants build a career they love by sharing his design knowledge and passion for design, technology, and the field of education.For two and a half years, Siddhartha has provided mentorship and guidance to a group of students, resulting in more than 50 of them securing positions in esteemed companies like TCS, Cognizant, Capgemini, NetBramha Studios, Thence, Lollypop Design Studio, Frog Design, Post Office Studios, Microsoft, and Boeing. He considers them his brand ambassadors and takes immense pride in their achievements.As a UX Evangelist, Siddhartha works to promote the importance of design education and has been working as a UX design mentor in Design Hackathon India. He advocates for the integration of design thinking into both business and academic curricula. He firmly believes that design is not just a skill but also a mindset that can be applied to a wide range of fields and industries. Regularly speaking at conferences and workshops, he shares his insights and knowledge with educators, students, and industry professionals. Siddhartha's dedication lies in fostering a design community that embraces inclusivity and diversity. He is passionate about advancing equity and accessibility in design education, driven by the notion of "Learn it, Live it, Contribute it".
