Kalidas School of Liberal Education

"The value of an education in a liberal arts college is not the learning of many facts but the training of the mind to think something that cannot be learned from textbooks." So rightly said by Einstein!

Upholding the main aim of liberal education that minds are like parachutes; they function best when they are open, the School of Liberal Studies at Avantika takes a creative, and intersectional approach to liberal studies, preparing students with the 21st-century skills to address contemporary challenges.

The academic programs follow a design-centered philosophy with a solid foundation of liberal studies, an interdisciplinary curriculum, and experiential learning at the core. This integrated curriculum provides a framework for intellectual exploration across disciplines—drawing on multiple social, cultural, historical, philosophical, and technological perspectives, traditions, media, and critiques, and takes the students outside the traditional classroom that help them connect the dots in an interconnected world.

The hallmark of the School of Liberal Studies is our faculty's commitment to small classes where the students are encouraged to explore the undefined boundaries of thought process — with a dash of art, a connotation of science, and a path leading to ancient values embodying the holistic learning.
