Avantika University sponsors Feronia Fashion Night 3.0 organized by the Redo Times. Feronia Fashion Night is an initiative to raise awareness on the very sensitive topic of gender equality and LBTQ inclusiveness. It is a first of its kind event that showcases Androgynous Fashion – A form of fashion that focuses on breaking the archaic gender stereotype. The fashion show was organized in the Grand Bhagwati Palace, Indore on 1st September 2019. The event featured collections from top fashion designers from India and around the world including names like Padma Shri Wendell Rodricks, Padma Raj Kesari, Diana Linda, Jeremy Fitzgerald, Corinne Smith and Amar Mithapalli, Seema Kalavadia and artisans of Maheswari craft presented their collections for the first time in Indore. The fashion show also became a platform for the Foundation Year Fashion Design students of the university to present their designs right in the first year of their college and get exposure of working with renowned fashion designers from across the globe.
