Fields in Fashion Designing

A candidate who has passed 10+2 from any stream (science, commerce, arts) can appear in the entrance exam conducted every year by respective colleges. The minimum percentage required to apply is 50% in class XII. After completing their course, a student gets ample opportunities to begin their career in innumerable fields in fashion designing.   • Retail Management- It involves managing resources, finance, and other stuff at departmental stores.
  • Footwear Designer- Footwear has an important place in our styling. It enhances our personality more and completes our looks.
  • Jewellery Designer- India has a rich culture of wearing jewelry at various auspicious occasions from ancient times. So styling our dresses with jewelry has a significant position in the fashion industry.
  • Makeup Artist- It is one of the highest paying jobs and is an important part of the fashion industry to use cosmetics to enhance the beauty of a diva or a model. They are hired for various events, photo shoots, bridal make up and pre and post-wedding shoots.
  • Blogging- It is again a very good way to generate our income by using our knowledge and information we get from our experiences. We can share these experiences with others either by writing in a magazine or by using various social media platforms.
