Dr. Sunil Karad

Dr Sunil Karad is the Executive Director of the Maharashtra Institute of Technology (MIT) Group of Institutions, Pune, India. He is a passionate and visionary institution builder. Dr Karad has pioneered the ability to create remarkable institutions within the Group, including the Academy of Engineering, Vishwashanti Gurukul, MIT Skills, MITID, and MITSOT, amongst several others. EDUGILD, India's First EdTech Accelerator is also his brainchild, providing mentorship and product realisation programs to startups for boosting fresh ideas and innovation. His vision is to create and deliver practical solutions to the issues faced by the education sector at a global level.
Prof. Anant Chakradeo
Prof. Anant Chakradeo spearheads developing international relations with alliances and collaborations for Avantika University. Prof Chakradeo is a talented Educationist and strategist who believes in thinking differently and who tries new concepts in education. As part of his association with MIT Group of Institutes, he has developed about ten working agreements. He is admired as a known figure in Pune city when it comes to international collaboration.
Professor Chakradeo completed his graduation in Mechanical Engineering and is a post-graduate in Production Engineering with 'Manufacturing Automation' as his specialization. His areas of interests are Analytical Drawing, Manufacturing Processes, Product Development, CAD CAM Automation, Tool Design and Development. He was instrumental in bringing the latest technology to the i=Institute and started MIT CAD CAM Training and Design Centre in the year 2000. His last responsibility was as the Head of Workshop and Production Engineering Department. Presently, he is also the Dean of Design Habitat at MIT Institute of Design.
Dr. Prasheel Suryawanshi
Prasheel V. Suryawanshi is an ardent academician and a passionate researcher who has been diligently pursuing the objective of igniting and educating young minds for the past 20 years. He holds a Doctorate in Control Systems and was until recently working as Associate Professor at MIT Academy of Engineering, Alandi (D), Pune. His research interests include sliding mode control, uncertainty and disturbance estimation, active disturbance rejection control and observer design. He has authored 4 books, 5 book-chapters, and over 50 research papers in journals and conferences of international repute. He is also the author of a number of monographs, technical reports and white-papers. He is member of a number of professional societies like IEEE, IEEE-CSS, IEEE-IES, ACM, IET, IAENG, SSI, ISOI, INS, IE(I), IETE and ISTE. He is an educator par excellence and the same has been testified by his numerous students and peers alike. He has been bestowed with the prestigious MIT Foundation Day Award 2015 for contribution in academics, research and institution building. The guiding thought of his life is, "DO NOT GO, WHERE THE PATH MAY LEAD, GO INSTEAD WHERE THERE IS NO PATH AND LEAVE A TRAIL".
Prof. Sanjay Jain
Prof. Sanjay Jain spearheads the design education with Avantika University. He has a good balance of academic and professional career. Before Avantika, Prof Jain was Founder Director-Academics with MIT Institute of Design and helped create the Institute as one of the most sought-after design institutes in India over the last decade. He contributed to building various academic collaborations with prominent design institutes from Hong Kong, Singapore, Europe and the UK.
Prof Jain is a Civil engineer from IIT Bombay, Class of 1984. Later, he did his Master of Design in Industrial Design at Industrial Design Centre, IIT Bombay in 1986. In an industrial career spanning about 20 years, he has served Indian industries in senior design positions - starting as Industrial Designer in Uptron India Ltd, Lucknow designing color televisions and electronic appliances for seven years. He joined Wipro Consumer Care and Lighting since its inception, as Head of Product Design in 1993 and worked for ten years. He and his design team helped Wipro Consumer Care and Lighting build design and innovation as its core business strengths and differentiators. Sanjay is a Motorola trained Green Belt of Six Sigma Quality Mission, Wipro.
Prof Jain firmly believes that 'learning' and 'creating' should be the intense joy for everyone involved in it.
Dr. Malhar Pangrikar
