Prasheel is an ardent academician and a passionate researcher who has been diligently pursuing the objective of igniting and educating young minds for the past 20 years. He holds a Doctorate in Control Systems and was until recently working as Associate Professor at MIT Academy of Engineering, Alandi (D), Pune. His research interests include sliding mode control, uncertainty and disturbance estimation, active disturbance rejection control and observer design. He has authored 4 books, 5 book-chapters, and over 50 research papers in journals and conferences of international repute. He is also the author of a number of monographs, technical reports and white-papers. He is member of a number of professional societies like IEEE, IEEE-CSS, IEEE-IES, ACM, IET, IAENG, SSI, ISOI, INS, IE(I), IETE and ISTE. He is an educator par excellence and the same has been testified by his numerous students and peers alike. He has been bestowed with the prestigious MIT Foundation Day Award 2015 for contribution in academics, research and institution building. The guiding thought of his life is, "DO NOT GO, WHERE THE PATH MAY LEAD, GO INSTEAD WHERE THERE IS NO PATH AND LEAVE A TRAIL".

Professor Aditya Abhyankar is an accomplished academician and researcher. He is currently the Dean, Faculty of Technology with the University of Pune, and is also a Professor, with Department of Technology from University of Pune. He received MS and Ph.D. degrees from Clarkson University, New York, USA, and has worked as a post-doctoral fellow at Clarkson University for the academic year 2006-07. Dr. Abhyankar’s research interests include - signal and image processing, pattern recognition, wavelet analysis, biometric systems and bioinformatics, machine learning, computer vision, data analytics, etc. To his credit, he has 8 US and 12 Indian patents and has been conferred with various national and international awards. Professor Abhyankar is also an approved Ph.D. guide of the University of Pune and is engaged in directing students for various research projects. Additionally, he is also associated with College of Engineering, Pune (COEP) as the Adjunct Professor. Dr. Abhyankar has an additional charge as Professor at Computer Engineering Department of Vishwakarma Institute of Information Technology (VIIT), Pune and Dean of R&D and Director of CERD (Center for Excellence in Research and Development) at VIIT, Pune.
Professor - Instrumentation

Professor Uttam Chaskar is an accomplished academician. He is an Associated Professor with College of Engineering Pune (COEP) in the Department of Instrumentation and Control. Professor Chaskar has a Ph.D. from Savitri Bai Phule University (formerly University of Pune) on Iris Recognition Algorithms and its Applications, as part of Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering. An ardent researcher, Dr. Chaskar’s research interest includes - Biomedical Instrumentation, Biomedical Signal and Image Processing, Biometrics, Clinical Engineering, Programmable Logic Devices, and Embedded Systems. He has even co-authored publications on Biometrics and Modern Digital Electronics. Professor Chaskar has been associated with COEP for over a decade, as a regular faculty member, and as part of this association he has acted as the mentor and guide for several engineering aspirants. In the context of this role, he has even successfully managed the responsibilities as the Training and Placement Officer in charge of College of Engineering Pune, along with various other administrative positions.

Dr Nitin Rane is a Project Director at University of Technology and Management Shillong, a private university in Meghalaya established in accordance with section 2(f) of the UGC. He was Professor and Head of the Department of Chemical Engineering at MIT Academy of Engineering, Alandi, Pune. He holds a doctorate in Chemical Engineering and has diverse range of experience in associated academic procedures. A committed academician, his core areas of expertise include Energy Efficiency, Environmental Pollution Control, Thermodynamics, and Process Equipment Design, among others. He has numerous publications and citations in international journals to his credit and has received grants to augment research and conduct expert lecture series in the field of Chemical Engineering during a career span of close to two decades. He holds memberships of professional societies including the Indian Society of Technical Education (ISTE) and Indian Institute of Chemical Engineers (IIChE). He has been conferred with the MIT Pune Foundation Day Award for his contribution towards the overall development and progress of MIT. His soft-spoken and welcoming nature makes him approachable to students, who constantly bank on him for guidance.
